Our cat was staring at a squirrel, who was chattering away in an angry tone. I was trying to get a shot of the squirrel when I turned and saw our cat in the shadows, The reflected sunlight was hitting her in such a way that her eyes glowed. I snapped off three or four shots, and this one worked.

Wow, fantastic shot. Beautiful crystal blue eye. The light reflection and detail in it and on her fur is superb. Their ability to concentrate and not get distracted or seem ruffled is amazing and you have managed to capture that trait here perfectly. Wonderful shot.
