Hi Greg,
One of my favorite subjects is old buildings--I love learning the story behind the ruins. I know how difficult it can be to just get the things you want to see in a photo, so can relate to your problem with the tin shed! I like the tones in this photo.
Thanks for your comment on my "Rock Ferns"
Regards, Anne

Hi Neil. Thanks for your comments. I do enjoy this area and spend a bit of time there. I'm hoping to take a lot more photos of the area and display them. I'm new to photography and enjoying it heaps but getting mixed results from the camera. The reason the photo wasn't centered was because of a tin shed which took away from the photo. Thanks again for your comments. Greg

Another thought. Dean & I were talking today about doing a photo that is unmistakebly "HERE". This is what we were wondering about. Beautiful photo.

Rare combination of colours happening here. Very pretty. I like whatever it is growing in the grass.

Hi Greg, nice to meet you. I like the colours in this photo and the way you have presented it. I ask myself why you have framed it so far to the left? maybe there was something stopping you going more to the centre. I know it's not always good to centre things, but i find it distracting here and want to find out what is to the left. I can tell you are very attached to this place from your great great grandfather, so it's nice you have a record of it. My compliments. I used to live in Dunedin so i know this area of the Waitaki quite well, i'll be keeping an eye out on your portfolio. Best wishes from Switzerland, Neil
