Thank you for your kindness and offer. My friend and I will be traveling together and it really is a long ways away. We will concentrate on the west coast. I'll have a few extra days and hope to spend some time in Cape Town and maybe even Namibia. We are very excieted to come to your country.

Well, if you can't get yourself into London during the layover, the airport's duty free shops (and OMG they are exquisite!!!) might just have the teddies. Do a websearch and see what shops are in the airport.
John, it's a pity you don't have a "layover" in my area. We would love to come meet you and take you to a couple of places of (touristy) interest.

At one stage, I had over 120 teddies. When the kittens started coming along, I had to "pet out" the teddy collection, but the fur/mink and Harrods one I just couldn't part with.

My wife also collects Teddy Bears... She loved these!! The kids and I have gotten her so many over the years that we are not allowed any more. Of course there are still those times when I spot one I can't refuse!

Linn, I love the trilogy, but this wins by a very short whisker. I think Harrods would like this as an advert, with no less than three mentions. The teddies are adorable. Thanks for the comment on my Crystal Gazing effort, I have loads, need to sort the best. It includes other photos of my crystal collection. We go on holiday next week, so time is short.
