Dear Roger!
Fantastic documentary/action shot. I bit over exposed, but fantastic. I agree with you not to crop the pic. I think the uninterested people is absolutely necessary to your pic. That is the life. Unfortunately everybody uninterested. Everybody try to live in their onw separated world. I thin you could give it back perfectly. Congratulation, from Hungary. Best wishes, Radák

I like the uncroppd version. This couple are oblivious to anything or anyone around them. They ARE one at this moment. The people around just add to this feeling. Great shot!

Hi Roger, Great shot, and very well exposed. The expressive and intense hug singles this couple out perfectly, even with the wide DOF. It creates the atmosphere of a festival. Lots of people around, but still very much anonymous.
I feel ambiguous about the compostion, though. The "oneness of two" (Very fitting title) is captured almost dead center, dividing the backgroun / secondary subject into two. The lonely man fumbling with his wallet and the activity of the people on the right. I thin selecting one of these two as a reference to the emotive embrace of the persons in front would've sufficed. I think the anonymity of atmosphere and the "feeling alone together" message fits best with the right part. Without meaning to interfere with your intensions with this photo (what were they, btw?) I enclosed the following crop. Wonder what your views are....;o)
Cheers,
Hugo
