Thanks for your comment Steve. Yes,,,this lot is in the middle of a typical suburb and I was standing in the street, dodging cars when I took that picture. The companion photo,"cabin in the woods" is on the same lot which has been allowed to return to the natural state as much as possible.

Okay Del, you convinced me. I sat here debating whether or not i liked the composition of this picture... then i stepped back and looked again... I do. i wondered what was immediately behind the you and your camera when you took this, and i guessed it was a road with mailboxes and such. The fact that looking into the picture takes you to a far away cottage, not readily bounded by roads and the world, and the fact that you have removed the viewer from the standard life, congrats!
