Well Linn,
most of teh useful comments already have been posted, I agree will Paula about the white blob at the right hand side.
BTW, I didn't know the Ocotpussy flower actually exists! Don't show these to any kid, they'll never go out to a garden anymore.
regards,
Jeroen

Hi Linn I've just opened your portfolio again and since the last time I was here and commented on your "Pink" flower, you posted a lot of amazing flora and fauna shots. I particularly like the macro of flowers which cover the whole canvas, like this one, cause they are to me wonderful nature abstracts. The amount of details here is stunning, as well as the clarity of them. I agree the center of this lovely Gazania looks like an alien creature, maybe s spider from Mars? Fantastic capture Congratulations Emgy

Someone should tell the aliens that the beans go inside the beanbag :) Weird. Post us another one, but a different colour next time. HB

I understand the thing about not wanting to cheat. I myself do as little post-production as possible. But you can't always avoid having to get rid of things in a photo, and if you're creating an image, I think it's important to consider the overall effect. Besdies, post-production in photography didn't begin with PS, so it's not like you're trying to enhance an otherwise bad photo using a computer. Anyway, good luck with this cool alien photo! :-)

Be on the lookout for the black cat; and listen out for the owls. Pray there is no lighting and thunder! I better stop - I am scaring myself :-) Linn

Sweet dreams ? That is just not fair Linn, family are away on holiday - I'm home alone with the dog and now another alien !!! All I can say is that it better had not be windy tonight, no sudden bangs or I lose the bedroom ceiling and get an instant loft conversion

You're quite right Paula ... I should remove the white corner, though it is part of the colouring of the flower. I guess I didn't want to cheat :-) but I suppose all is fair in photography :-))) Linn

How did you get all that stuff past customs? :-)) War of the worlds? You are giving your age away Steve :-) I still have the records - haunting, eerie - but great music! Here's another one to add to your nightmares - this alien is actually reaching out to grab at you! :-) Sweet dreams Linn

Oh wow Linn, an incredible macro. Super detail and colour. You know you now have me very very worried. I will have to check all the rocks and lava bombs I brought back home with me from Ascension just in case there are some "alien spores" within them. I probably wont get any sleep tonight, too many nightmares ;-) And to think I actually watched war of the worlds yesterday on cable tv ... I'm dooooommmmed !!!!

Hehe! Well seen! I would try and get rid of the white spot on the bottom right somehow, it's quite disturbing. Very good idea, though.
