Thanks Chris for your comments. Actually the drill was operating at the time, but my shutter speed was too fast. As you said it was a grab short and it would have been better not to have the car in the bakground and the tree growing out of his head. "Toy camera", just clicked on the wrong one
When I first saw this thumbnail, it reminded me of one of the generic stock photos that we'd use to illustrate a talk or brochure. Nice colors, reasonably uniform lighting (must have been overcast?). There is pretty good separation of the fore- and backgrounds.
From your comments this was a bit of a grab shot, so I'm not sure how much of the following really applies. There are two things that might transform this from a good image to a great image - first a sense of motion (if the gadget in his hand was moving), and second a little different angle to get rid of the car in the background.
