Stong impact as usual. The white dress suggests innocence to me. One could play with subtle dark things in the greater darkness, but I fear that that would go against your minimalist style.

The lack of detail makes this image mysterious, which triggers thought. I disagree with the idea of always feeding people the answers, and producing images that mean zero challenge to the mind.

Again Anne your work and its emotional booby traps transcends the photograph.. There is so much more in this work because there is so little, and that is fundamental to its success and power. The tension and suspense are profound and the questions raised by the image will forever outweigh any answers it might give. In any event every viewer will ask questions of the work, however, the image will not answer, but merely continue to enchant and lure us back and back again to view it and again but to only experience the sweet aching that comes from the unfulfilled promise of the work. There is an elusive notion of time and portent in this image that makes it, for me a very important work in your portfolio. It is good that you continue to pose questions rather than answer them with your work and your figurative work is very strong and indeed a rich ground of invention. So for me an unsatisfied need, in terms of an image remaining forever unsolved or totally revealed, is just as satisfying as one that is sated.
Congrats and keep them coming they brighten my day.

There is something about substantial negative space that attracts me... the only nik... is that it would be wonderful if there was more detail and sharpness of the model... otherwise perfecto!
