Hi Mark (+Jill),

I very much like the photos you have posted, so I can see what a fab chap you are. I hope you will indulge a few comments from me:

> my World Trade Center shot.

which photo?
You are intriguing me more by the second here...

> I have an Apartment in Paris which my
> girlfriend and I totally enjoy spending
> many months in every year

Excellent!
Wanna meet up in Paris later this year??

> After visiting almost 80 countries since
> 1975 I've learned one thing.Don't believe
> anything any Governments says (but that's
> just silly me).

Ok, Paris it is then...
Where old Thomas Paine was once an online Parliamentarian.
But you probably realise...

Jill: yes please, the whole photograph.
This is such a striking image.

Love

Paul

I'm glad you identified the object - I never would have figured it out on my own! There's almost a metalic feel to it. Isn't it strange how things viewed in macro become so separate from the whole? A little disconcerting.

The color you got here is just amazing as well as the detail.

I don't know what "squid" means... I guess some kind of fish? Well, you made an incredibly beautiful, creative and artistic composition of it! It really does look so wonderful! The colours, the details, the forms... super!

Dear Jill, interesting shot.Hard for me to say what I'd change since I don't shoot this type of subject. Thanks for stopping by my World Trade Center shot.Just wanted to correct something you wrote. My statement wasn't anti government - it was just a string of facts about the 9/11 hearings and what came out.The other thing I wanted to mention is I already have half emigrated. I have an Apartment in Paris which my girlfriend and I totally enjoy spending many months in every year(and I must say how smart the French to not get involved in this giant mess called the Iraq war.See, that's not anti government but just a plan fact-it's a mess with a few of our military men being killed or wounded EVERYDAY.Bush has yet to go to ONE funeral.Just a fact)Back to Paris, It's wonderful to walk home from a bistrol, Cafe, or resturant around 1am after a great meal, fine wine(or beer), and intelligent conversation with a few of our many friends there and not have to worry about getting shot in the back (Yes, one of my girlfriend's best friends was shot in the head during a robbery at a pay phone in LA. No big deal,I don't want to say anything negative about our wonderful gun laws)The Rest of the year I'm either in other parts of Europe, Asia, North Africa, or South America shooting Travel Photography for an agency and, down the road, a book I'm working on.I see this was shot in South Africa.Beautiful country - spent over a month there in 1984 shooting, visiting friends, and checking out Apartheid for myself. After visiting almost 80 countries since 1975 I've learned one thing.Don't believe anything any Governments says (but that's just silly me).Once again thanks for your suggestions and I;m sorry you totally misunderstood my comments.Take care, MarkPS. feel free to visit my page anytime, cheers.
