This Photograph, was Taken During early Evening, Inner Harbour, and I thought, With the Indian Emblem, it was very Picturesque...Jeff! Ps:Haida Indian: A member of a seafaring group of North American Indians who lived on the Pacific coast of British Columbia, and ("southeastern") Alaska. Correction Made, as per, Carolyn, of Alaska, ...Jeff!
Beautiful photo, Jeff, but the Haida Indians live in Southeast Alaska, not Southwest. As a matter of fact they live on the same island as I do, Prince of Wales Island, Alaska, which consists of several tiny cities Craig being the largest (mainly Haida Indian population of a couple thousand) and villages. Hydaburg, a couple of hours drive from Thorne Bay (where I live-pop. 600) is an almost exclusive Haida Indian village. They also are spread out all over the island. We live together, ride the ferry together, shop together, etc. They are also spread out in various other places in Southeast Alaska. This is a wonderful photo!! I love the boat and the reflections. Excellent shot! Carolyn
