Well, for me, this works totally as-is. The eye contact is great and will be different things to different people. To me it says something like "...I know something you don't..". The lighting and DOF are almost like I'd remember a chance meeting or an old "flame". And to crop it at the bottom, for me at least, would bring her too close - I like the feeling of a little distance on this. In case you hadn't guessed, I like it a lot.
BTW, Andrea, don't suppose your sister ever comes to Hong Kong :-) Thought not, but keep on posting.
I like the moment you grabbed here.....I do agree with nanette that a minor crop of the bottom will/can improve this frame....I like the DOF in this so I dont agree with Nanette on this or the eyes..I along with Mary Baby like the contact ont his one it is supported by the facial expression..nicely Done andrea
To me, the eyes are OK the way they are. There is a suggestion of a shared secret here, one between the model and the viewer. Very nice, intimate, image.
