Extremely powerful shot, Alex! A very moving and violently graphic photo. I have to agree with Keith on the lower camera position, and I would definately feel very unconfortable taking my time to capture the mans' misery like that. Besides, only capturing the legs and feet of the people passing does also emphasise the uncaring atmosphere.

Alex, I like the subject and your intention, but the angle you have chosen to shoot from, i.e. a standing position has not made the best of this opportunity. Imagine taking the shot from a very low angle, you would have something from the perspective of the guy on the ground. Towering people all around, whilst focussing on the main subject.
I admit it would have been a much braver shot to take, but I believe it would provide a very much more powerful image.
