Magnificent specimen and so interesting. Vibrant colors and great composition. You should get extra points for difficulty! Very nice!

A great pic. One too late to say Thistle...I knew it...really I did. The bug is obviously a visitor from another planet...sheesh, anyone can see that.

The flower is a Thistle. I have no clue what the insect is! For insects on flowers try to use more DoF (f8) to get clearer definition. Good color. Also try using a faster shutterspeed to get the shape of the wings, rather than just motion. You remembered the rule of 3rds! I also know this was an unexpected, quick thinking shot and that that bug was moving fast. You did a good job of capturing it! ms. "objective".

I sure don't know! It looks like it's on a cactus! ?? In the desert? And the tonue (or whatever) is curled! Amazing, whatever it is! Great photograph, nice clarity and great color!!

Muy buena! La composición es buena, el fondo oscuro y difuso ayuda a realzar los colores y las formas. El insecto le da a la foto espontaneidad.
