Beautiful job Beverly! I don't know if it's the subject you chose, or your skill in PS, or both, but this is one of the most convincing watercolor effects I've seen! I can almost feel the texture of the paper this is 'painted' on. The photo of the flower itself is really nice too, of course, with wonderful shadings of color and pattern. The only thing that distracts me a little is the brownish/yellowish hues in the lower-right, but on the other hand it does add some depth...

Beverly - I like the soft colors of this and the repetative pattern of the petals. In some ways this reminds me of Georgia O'Keeffe. Of course she did say" I hate flowers. I only paint them because they're cheaper than models and they don't move." keep on, your doing fine...John
