I like the compoition here because there is so much beautiful reflected light in the sand it needs to be seen, the wreck is a visual anchor that is perfectly placed amid a scene of unprecedented colour. I am as impressed with your ability to gauge the exposure so well as i am with the excellent composition.

What a beautiful shot. This is definately "framable."

Aside from the horizon being a bit off kilter this is a stunning image. The hues and textures are beyond compare.

Oh wow! This is stunning. I don't agree that this should be in landscape format. I think the upright format supports the vertical object in the picture and gives stength to the foreground. Though I do agree it might be nice to see the horizon a little lower (I still think it's fine as it is). One thing which does detract is the attention to detail in the post-processing - you haven't cropped well enough on the top edges, leaving some background showing. Apart from that - stunning work, well done indeed.

Congrats on being there for this perfect moment, but also on finding some interesting foreground!!! So many great sunsets are wasted on film by not having any interesting objects or silhouettes to make them stand out.... this stands out! A horizontal would be nice as well.. but I like the way that the smaller logs lead your eye to the one large one, and the vertical format accentuates it nicely.

Beautiful colors in this shot, Sarah. I wonder why it is in a vertical presentation instead of landscape. Don't take me wrong. This one is very good but it would be "picture perfect" with the camera in the horizontal and aimed just below those objects in the foreground. This would have brought the horizon lower into the bottom 3rd and caught more of that gorgeous sky.
Best wishes. Keep up the good work.
Jimmy
