There's an old world feel to this image that's very nice. I like the uphill angle which to my mind gives movement.
A little more contrast may help to brighten/whiten the snow especially on the branches. Lovely winter scene you have captured nontheless.

What a wonderful diagonal of stones through snow...I heared you got a terrible storm in these days. Really a lot of snow...I grown up in a middle of Russia, with a lot of snow in a winter. For children it was big fun, playing with snow. Now I live in California and can see snow storms only on TV or on a photos of my Usefilm friends...Thank you.

Hi Jon, An excellent diagonal you've captured here! The grey weather removes the contrast in the snow almost completely, which makes it really difficult to produce a decent and interesting photo, But I think you succeded very well! The division of the photo in two by the wall works very well, and I like the highly detaild and very contrasting trees. Well done!
