Great, Giannis.
Here we are in front of an antithesis, opposition and contrast in the intermediate relation between the machine that stops time (and bring the eternity) and the machine that measures the course of time.
Water resist but incapable to repel the fixation of the camera.

Regards.

I don't know what made mr chose thi pareicular photo from among your wondeful ones to thank you for your comment on my "light and floweres". Perhaps I happened to take the photo of a watch the other day. I send it to you as sign of appreciation.

Thanks for your comment on my panorama! I see that your style of photography is very different from mine. Beuatiful closeups and macros rather than sweeping panoramic views. It's great that our hobby has such richly different capabilities, isn't it!

This one is fascinating. I guess it was a 15s exposure!

Very cool concept, and it was close. Maybe consider angling the watch to one side, so the camera's reflection is not there?

Giannis, at least 20 of the current 104 views are from me...;) I'm intregued by this shot! Not only the 15s exposure, but also the reflection of your camera. Excellent creativity and very original! I like the high level of detail, and the sense of depth added by the reflection. What I find most intreguing is why you chose this specific time; one minute to three and zero seconds to one minute to three and fifteen seconds. If it were me taking this shot, I would not have nor the patience, nor the finesse for such a subtle detail. The lighting, both on the camera as on the strap of the watch is fantastic. I would have done some things differently (different angel, different time, etc.) but definately not better! I'm impressed!

Cheers,

Hugo
