Rawabi - laser light is directed through an oddly shaped piece of glass and the refracted light is projected onto a screen which is then captured in various ways - in this case with a digital camera.

dear stefan, you are probably right. and then, i do hope you are not. this looks very light fabric, dreamlike, a nothingness. and our good wishes to our loved ones should be more than just the weight and strength of a spider web!
thank you very much for your concrete comment on 'next week 11 p.m. concrete? what is concrete? concrete is dissolving in blue light and vanishing in the smoke of emptiness into the universe. meeting a hitchhiker on the way?... best regards charlie.f.kohn@sixpence-pictures.com // madrid

Ryan - I did look at a version of this with a videocamera once. The result can be viewed at: http://neuromagnetics.mc.vanderbilt.edu/photos/glass/index.html Look for video links near the bottom of the page. Windoze only, sorry if that is a problem.

I found one of the transitional images between this heart and the arms-to-the-sky one.

Peta - now I see what you mean but I had to have it pointed out to me :-) There is a bit of a torso in there and it kind of makes sense since this configuration is quite close to that of "Exuberance" posted previously.

Stefan, you know how much I love these... such a damned good style, it's almost like you create images out of cobwebs, or hire spiders to get to work... so very very cool! Cherie

Stefan,
If I understood what you were doing, I think I would run out and try this - these image sometimes are whimsical and sometimes are poetic and always oriental in feel. But most of all they manage to convey a sense of light and motion.
