About Another favourite spot of mine. Usually I'm too early to catch people there, and the light is bad. Here, there was just enough light for a shot but not for the depth of focus I really needed.

Roger:

I love viewing your works for varied reasons. this one is quite poetic. The lighting though is difficult to speak of. It works in the sense that it reminds me of landscape paintings where lighting plays a incredibly romantic part. Had you not caught the lighting you did, I do not believe the lulling effect would be there. We are able to flow towards an infinity beyond the trees. Again, I love viewing your work. You make use of so many artistic media within your prints--images. Also thank you for your comments on polarized lighting.

Beautiful tones, Roger. Love the "S" of the stream. I'm glad you fot the people in the frame, otherwise it might have looked "dead". Well, you know my weakness for trying to include humans in scenes, though I don't advocate it in all situations.

I think this one works fine even with the limited DoF.

Yes, Dan, that's right. Only available in Japan, and one of the few things that's less expensive within Japan than outside it! I'm glad you like it, it's one of my very favourites...

It's a very beautiful picture, I think this camera is the japanese version for X-pan.
