Anne, I have admired this shot for quite some time, and now that I am a member I can comment. The intriguing thing to me is that you cannot tell the age of the model - there is a beautiful childlike quality, something that I am always looking for - even my most sophistocated models. Whether you call it innocence or childlike wisdom - this shot rocks. And super technique.

A wolf on guard or peering at its next prey. The hair shadows the face and hides her gaze so as not to alarm the prey. The shoulder is hunched, ready to pounce. There is a tiny bit of empty space infront of the model. The prey is close and she's ready to strike. This is a very sexy pose.

I like the way you've chosen to break the "Subject should look into the frame" rule. My only comment would be that I would have like to have seen the eyes in focus. But thats only my opinion, I've had the same comment thrush upon me when something was intentionally left out of focus. Also I find the whit flash in the lower right a little distracting. But I love the cropping of this image.
