Dear Mr. Padre, actually I have not mentioned the brief story of this beautiful monument regarded as one of the seven wonders of the World---The Taj. When Mumtaj, wife of Great Mughal emperor Shahjahan died, he decided to built a monument in memory of his most beloved wife.It was built in 22years by appx 20000 peoples.Monument built with white marble having intricate engraving with floral works, precious stones etc. To visit the Taj on Fullmoon night is a lifetime experience. Please do,if u visit India. This monument is most visited monument by Indian as well as foriegn visitors. This is regarded also as maximum photographed site. We the Indians treat Taj as a symbol of love for near & dear ones.
Dear Amitava, You are right. I visited Taj at 6 in the morning. There was fog arround Taj.I could not wait for fog to get cleared as i had some other places to visit within my time frame. Light was low & use of tripod is not allowed inside Taj premises.Loss of sharpness might have due to this reason. JPG format directly saved from digital Processor of Color Lab,I have not scanned the photograph to make a soft copy. I later checked my film it is not Kodak100 but 200. This may be the reason for loss of details. I am not sure, would try to solve this problem in my future pictures. Lastly thanks for your comments. regards. Sujit.

On reviewing your portfolio it seems tha many of your images are lacking sharpness. That tells me that it may be a result of scanning. May be you need to find a better scanner or correct for it in a photo editor.

If the sun was on your right, you might have got some effect out of the polarizer. However, the polarizer would also affect the reflection in the water. So, it would have been a balancing act. As it is, there doesn't seem to be anything of interest in the sky and the atmosphere looks a bit hazy or misty. So the effect of the polarizer would probably have been reduced anyway. The entire image appears to be rather soft and flat. That's not necessarily undesirable.
