Hi Micky, I agree with all, you have achieved a very beauiful result in PS. It's a really excellent first try. The colour is so pretty and Springy as we head into winter here!
Thank you for your wonderful comments to me, I very flattered, and nice words make me try harder. :) I think you had a photo with a view from your lounge and I thought it looked like what you'd see from where my Dad's old home was. It was on Highgate...my Dad was quite devastated when he went by it a few years ago and found it a total wreck. It was a lovely home in it's day, and could still have been. It was off the street between stores up there that my grandad owned. He was a cabinet maker. Died at 96 in 1969. I hope to get home by mid year...wish I could get to go to Dunedin too. My Dad lives in Wellington.
Cheers
Peta

Wonderful shot, Micky! Such beautiful combination of sharp foreground and smooth/soft background! Amazing colours and such gentle! I do like your PS work, very delicate and accurate, it has perfectly allocated the main. Excellent and such wonderful frame, very beautifully combine with picture! Excellent work! Admire! My best wishes! Alexey. P.S. Augusto's Coleus is beautiful, isn't it?

Your first serious attempt at PS and an excellent result. You left the focus at the right on the write placeand the blurred parts make this image soft and very beautiful. I love the colours. A really superpwork Micky!

Micky; I think this is beautifully done! I really like the softness along with the warm and light colors. The sharpness you've left is in just the right place too. I've got to find something to try this technique on myself. Heavy rains this A.M. so no outdoor shooting;>). Cheers. Craig
