A small woodjust off the main road near where I live.It was fairly early in the morning and the sun was just breaking through after a misty start. I shot facing the light metering off a nearby tree ( incident light reading with a Lunasix)
As simple as the subject matter may be, I don't think it's commmon. The back of the beautifully rustic looking sign is just perfect - it's almost too perfect, seeing this image elsewhere I would suspect it was digitally added... this may also be due to the 3D quality Troy mentioned.
These are the types of photos I dream of finding. I love it, and am very, VERY jealous.
I like the almost 3D quality to this picture and that it is in black and white strips the whole scene to it's barest elements. Nice shot, I like it a lot.
