Becky, This shot was taken around 7pm in this summer. That was not very night. My interest was to use the back-light on the beach. I included people in this shot to show their joyous moment on a summer eventing while using the light on the waves.
Well, I dont know whether I communicated well with this shot.
However, I enjoyed your views on the picture. Thanks again.
I think this photo has a lot of potential, but it seems to have two subjects and I'm hard pressed to focus on one or the other. The first is the water line, which, being in the foreground and the brightest part of the picture, immediately grabs your attention. The second is the human activity in the background. I feel that if you would like the water line to be the focus (and why not? It looks great), then get closer to it and exclude all or most of the people. If the subject of the photo is the human silhouettes, they need to be more centered, not squished in the top third of the pic. You would have to change the angle a bit too, in order to get the bodies contrasted against the lit water, rather than a dark background.
Of course, take these words with a grain of salt. I'm just a newb. *L*
