Nice cropping and colors ... the white on the roof didn't bother me until Karen said something . I would love to eat lunch sitting in the middle of this place , seam so peaceful . You have a nack for landscapes ....I wish I had an easier time .
this is a beautiful picture and I always look forward to seeing more. Great Work!

Karen, the white object on the rooftop is actually the cottage's chimney. It's a charming but rustic little building that's occasionally opne to the public. It's tiny and dark and used to house a family ~ I guess people that worked on the estate. It's got a large fireplace connected to the chimney you see in the picture.
Mike (Francis?), Stourhead is a National Trust property consisting of a large house and parkland garden that used to belong to Hoares, the banking family. It's situated just a couple of miles of the A303 not far from Wincanton. It's an idyllic place and one of my favourite retreats on my days off. A great place to take pictures, particularly in spring and autumn. The house is shut through the winter, but the gardens remain open throughout the year.

Beautiful and outstanding colors. The only thing that is distracting is the white object (?) on the roof top of the building. It keeps drawing my attention. Otherwise a great photo. A little bit of cloning and bingo - another great work.
