The trouble with this photo is that in some ways it looks "too perfect". i.e. the symmetry of the pelicans, the almost complete perfect circle of seagulls, expressions on the birds, wonderful lighting. The eye wants to believe it but has this niggling feeling that it's a computer generated promotional poster for the latest Pixar movie! Which, in a rather roundabout way means - outstanding effort! Your patience paid off.
