Congrats on donor pic of day, Sandy.
I like this just as it is, cheeky & a little surreal.

The warm light emphasises a nice antique feel. Maybe playing around with a duotone in Photoshop might add even more. DOF DOF... woof woof... :)

Unusual indeed.. I love it. The sun light almost makes it look colorized and saturated. Great small DOF too!

Hi Sandy; You have an eye for arrangement and light, as seen here. How it manages to bring together that mosaic-like background with the antique toy dog (Pluto?) is near flawless. It is appealing in many ways: aesthetically, photographically, and mood-wise. It's very impressionist in the use of light as well. // Thank you for your comments on 'lunchtime b-ball.'

i usually look at pictures and wait to see how they make me feel - (not so interested in technical details)- i took an instant liking to this - i like the shadow, without it the picture would be a little flat and the light is wonderful - the dog is way cool too, you've given life..

like maybe i could backed the pup a bit?
hmm
i think i see it...i did notice the darkness at the base of puppy boy..i thought it added a nice mystique...but now my first impression is now brought to light once more..than you for the hint...next time i will try different...

i guess i chose this one because i liked the layout...i had to do no cropping and or color or contrast additions...

i was grinnin...:)
its the little things.
sigh

thanks again and take good care...

Sandy, I like the color and tone. Great definition on the dogs head. I simply adore the idea, but some thing seems amiss about the lighting situation. It is warm for the most part, though the white seems harsh, and it feels like the black does not belong either. Sorry but maybe to much shadow to fast in the front. I have not tried a project like this, but it seems tricky. I am no pro, just my opinion, hope this can help a little. Regards.
