There's some sense of vertigo associated with a railroad yard--"is my train moving, or is it the other one moving?" The tilt fits naturally with that, I think. There's also a claustrophic feeling to being outside between two trains, which I tried to express with a little tilt in yesterday's first "Perspective" photo.

I've been experimenting with the tipped horizon for these type of shots. Ironically it seems more lifelike, maybe because you normally have to tip your head sideways to get down to this level. Unfortunately the background keeps getting in the way. Kinda cool.
