About Bear management specialist tend to a 300-pound grizzly bear that was darted and captured in Whitefish, Mont. The bears come into town to eat garbage in order to store up fat for winter. I heard this call on the scanner. A writer and I drove all over town looking for this bear, we found it just before it was shot with a tranquilizer dart. I used an on-camera Nikon SB-24 to fill in the foreground.
