About	This picture was taken as an extremely quick candid at a college party. Especially moving for me personally, because it captures the rare, unseen serious side of this normally comedic friend... You can see a little part of his soul in this picture. Lighting is just an overhead flourescent fixture, and a slight flash fill from camera. I underexposed the shot a stop, and over-printed with a 2 multigrade filter to add texture/grit. One of my all-time favorite candids.

andy- i think this is a beautiful photograph. i think its amazing when photographers are able to capture vulnerability on film, since most people are quite guarded. very well done.

Marty - I'm all for editing distracting objects out of my candids normally.. but with this photo, I wanted to keep it as raw and untouched as possible. It adds the realism to the shot for me, personally. :)

Great photo, but the object in the left corner is quite distracting. Try cropping it out in PhotoShop.
