Thanks for the explanation, Marcio. Although I really would rather have the natural color of the rock, I admire the creativity involved with lighting with a carbide lamp. Unfortunate for me, that it makes me think of commercial lighting, which - like you - I don't like. I'm also a wild caver (take that both ways, if you want! :-D LOL!) and as such, would much rather see the rock as I see it while exploring. I do understand now that to non-cavers, this would be surreal and mystical, but in my eyes, the reality is that much more magical.
Keep posting. I'm enjoying very much.

Thanks for your comment Sue! I used 2 acetylene reactors and I taste of its light, could use the flash, but I prefer the hot tones in this case. This cave is wild and it does not have commercial lights. I don?t like of touristic caves. See the natural color with flash:

I agree with Sue. Though I've not been in many caves they look far far better in their real colours.
You also have quite severe vignetting in the upper right and lower left corner and less severe vignetting in the other corners. That's usually an incorrectly placed (or shaped/sized) lenshood which is easily corrected for by using a correct hood (or correctly placing the hood).
Mind that the hood that comes with a lens (especially with cheaper zooms) is not always the right hood to use!
The caveman moved during exposure. Probably little to do about that except give him some sedatives :)
I'm not scoring this high because of those factors, though your composition and lighting (apart from the colour cast) are quite good.

I really like the comp and the set up, but I would much rather have the natural color of the rock rather than the tungsten affect. I've been caving for 14 years (was married in one, even, in 1990) and this looks quite unnatural to me. If you're going to use the commercial lighting of the cave owner, switch to a tungsten adapted film. These formations are too gorgeous for such a disservice.
