gorgeous! that golden eruption in the green, and the shaking trunks of trees. i'm reminded of a van gogh, here in the cincinnati museum, in which several figures stand enigmatically in a forest such as you have captured here. that dark stub near the center, at the base of the golden light, appears to be such a figure: like in shape to the trunks around him, but lacking their stolid power. the vertical rhythm of the trunks, against the chaotic yellow behind them, is a wonderful tension. great picture!
