Ahoj. Kde je zena, tam moze byt prostredie sebehroznejsie - vzdy z toho nieco vznikne. Je to jednoduche ako facka (je to tiez slovenske slovo?). Perfect.

Ah, now you see her, now you don't! I love the delicacy of the disappearing form against the solid form of the stairs. I also really like the out of place tile in the bottom right corner -- it all works very well for me.

Peter, thank you for your explanation. I understand the pyramid story now. Unfortunately I couldn't see a ziggurat-pyramid there before, as it is obviously (to me) cut in half by a vertical "wall". I tend not to look for stories in photos, just the visual elements, though I recall Jan Saudek's "a photograph that doesn't tell a story is not a photograph." I saw your other images and they're clearly very carefully done. Thanks.

Very good work. A koncim s anglictinou, protoze to by asi bylo vsechno, co bych napsal. Tohle je moc zajimavy obraz. Zacina to nazvem. Ten pristup se mi libi, protoze ja se hlasim k nazoru, ze svet nevzniknul z niceho, ale prave naopak - vzniknul ze vseho. A tak ja vnimam tvuj obraz. Symbolicky tady vidim vsechno. Uzasna lazen (zivne vody) a s hloubkou, ta je dulezita. Hloubka - schody - vzestup. Schazejici voda nevadi, vi se o ni. A zena symbolizuje promenu, moznost. Dobry je i to, ze ta zena je prave tam, kde je. Skoro nad vodou. Good idea. Mik

your composition is wonderful. that the pyramid corners of the steps are essential to the meaning. without them, the woman ascends steps; with them, she ascends a ziggurat somehow tranported to this modern wasteland. the corner shadows create a sacred space where there was mere concrete before.

Here you go... Add to it a sort of romantic Gypsy's waltz played on a piano by a guy named 'Flori' and this is now a very relaxing experience... Melikes !

to João Magalhães : thank you very much for your comment. To cut by your way is about another story inside the picture. The pyramyde is very important subject in it. I can issue you, that I always control composition working with full frame concept, mainly when I work with tripod. Otherwise your variant looks fine , but it is about another story. In this concept, I took more weight into form of picture and less wieght to the composition. PS : shadows on right side works as contra to shadows in left side ....

I am strongly partial to movement [nudes] and empty places, so I really love the concept. I think, though, that you could have taken more attention to the composition with the static elements, although on the other hand you had to use a tripod, so you almost certainly did it. The stairs sahdows put in too much visual weight IMO. Maybe something like this if you don't get nervous about unusual formats.
