Jorge, I would never say your pictures "are no good," at all. If we regard the "noise" or "grain" as a painting medium, like the pointillism of Seurat or the short strokes of Van Gogh, I actually like the way the "paint" is applied in this picture to the left of the sunburst, where the cloud is made to look like tufted cotton. If the "paint" in the lower and lower right side of the image were applied say in a way to seem like it was driven and aligned somehow by the rays of the Sun, it would look better to me. But your art is your own expression, not to be sternly judged by me. Thank you for your thoughtful reply.

I can't decide whether I like the lower grain or not. It adds texture to what would otherwise be a black cloudbank, but in a rather haphazard way. I must ponder this one as possibly a new artform?
