These are old behives, made from pieces of cork and still being used in many places along of mountain. They claim are not so productive, but better honey quality.
I like your shot, Joe, but my jaded eyeball would prefer it leveled a bit, as I've done in the attached "enhancement." You may not like that approach at all; my stomach is more settled when things look level to me.
