On the day I got my new Nikon, I attended a bodybuilding competition with a friend and model, Mark. Unfortunately we arrived late and had to sit near the back of the auditorium. Thank goodness for the zoom lens, though I did the best I could without a tripod.
Wonderful job, considering the shootimg situation... Love those expressions, and glad you kept the backs of the audience heads in view, to give a better sense of place... Well done.
A glorious cartoon of a photo. The dense, eventful picture surface, the poses and expressions, the intense light, and the predominance of yellow create a vital atmosphere. The heads of the crowd, only gradually noticed, give an understood, rather than a perceived depth despite the way the principal image pops out at one. Closely related to such Lautrec posters as this.
