Delightful coloring! The violet blue is great!
I sorta wish for more light/less graininess in the center of the flower, but that would be at the expense of the backlighting, so I guess that's out. What about a closer crop?

Pamela, please don't misunderstand. I am not seeking revenge, I too am simply being honest. There are literally thousands of images of flowers and this one is nothing special. Now would I have commented if unprovoked? Probably not. Again, just being honest. If you draw the sword, make certain it does not cut you. Now I will bother you no more.

A beautiful and delicate flower. Yes, I like the way the light makes the petals look. I believe that if the center had been sharper with less grain, that it would have been simply overpowering. But still a nice capture. Regards.

the translucency of the leaves is exceptional, but the lack of detail in the center of the flower detracts from the overall image...the composition is good, it is just that there is more distractions than there are attractions...i applaud you for achieving that translucency

Each to their own opinion. I personally find this image more than boring, and not creative. However, I have been inspired by your wonderful feedback to me. Normally, I would have passed on by a photo that I find no redeeming value in, as YOU should have done.
