Nice picture. The flare is attractive, but the rim-lighting on the poles and lines on the left is great. Also, the body language of the fisherman is very evocative - well done - Bob T.
Thanks for your comments about my egret shot, but especially for your kind words about my Vietnam Memorial picture. I've been a bit puzzled by the lack of interest, because that's my all time favorite of anything I've ever taken. I think it is a somber and powerful photo, but technically, it came out the way I first envisioned it in my mind weeks before I had a camera capable of taking it. The desire to capture this picture is why I got a Nikon F100. Sorry to ramble, but you touched on my personal favorite!
Beautiful how the sun has suddenly have to make place for the darkness of the storm. Great composition, sunshine and darkness, next together in one picture. Well done!
That's a nice composition, Vicki! The bright sunlight and (well done) flare on the right, giving hope to the fisherman who is also aware of the specter of the approaching (or departing?) storm on the left. Makes you think. Good capture!
