Thank you Armondo. They are very dramatic to photograph. I would not like to meet one in the ocean. I have read they are venomous. you are brave to raise them in your home.

Yes, I knew that. The genus name Pterois means venomous. They are very dramatic to photograph and interesting to look at.

Dear Linda ,
I have had in the past , a domestic aquarium where I grow up a Pterois . This Lionfish was the main attraction at my home. Friends were enchanted by the beautiful colors of this type of fish.
Your picture is wonderful . Simply great .
