About	Out for a hike this morning in some nice fresh snow, I walked right by this guy. Luckily, I caught site of him out of the corner of my eye when I doubled back to take another path home. I took a lot of shots of him this morning, but this is my personal favourite. Rouge Valley, Ontario. Jan. 8/11

I've always wanted to capture one of this kind of shot, with the owl peeking out from behind something. He never took his eyes off me the whole time I was shooting. He made my day, that's for sure!
