John I didn't actually get to your portfolio when I posted my comment but I tripped over this image when I explored the most popular photos here. This photo got my attention so I left a comment. There's nothing more that can be said. This is an original shot, well done. There is just one element that I can't decide whether it's wrong or right, the diagonal stem across the bottom left of the frame. Would the image have been more symetrical without it, it appears that this is where all your DOF has been focused and my eye keeps being drawn to it. I'm not sure........

Well, first off, the colours are spectacular to say the least. Interesting composition - not the cliche flower shot where evreyone focuses on the one flower, this is quite interesting. I also like your dof.
