About no flash, 3200 ASA, No PS, just captured discretely in a castle last Sunday "au domaine Vermont" a property owned by the Tuck Foundation.

Vernissage of the work of artist Lionel Estevé.
Tip: Do not say "exhibitionist" to a French artist during an exhibition as that would be hilariously showing the artist himself fully naked in God´s creation and not HIS created work.
I did not make the obvious provocation, I only enjoyed knowing about a possible confusion.

The Tuck Foundation is a recognized charity set up in 1992 with the aim of developing international cooperation – particularly French-American – for teaching and research in the fields of oil and gas, petrochemicals, engines and related activities, and their environmental impact.

Glad that you liked this one so much Matteo.
It is always a surprise how appreciation is unexpectedly accumulated for a single capture while others are hardly noticed. Maybe this taste-check teaches me more about how photographs are perceived than about how making a better photo :-)
best wishes,
Paul

Thank you txules, about frames in general we can discuss a lot. Frames are like countries, we can like the country but disagree about its borders,
but should we change the borders at the cost of war ? best regards, Paul

Hi Luis, thanks for your visit and comment.
It could have been an ice-machine too, or a sports-car or some other material object. It only needs an artist with an idea and the right connections for its realization. Several years of studies, passing exams, producing art, much art, tasteful not always necessary, networking and a lot of networking...
That is our world,
best regards,
Paul

Thank you very much Nanda,
personally I had liked somewhat less noise at 3200 ASA so I could have gone to e.g. 1000 instead by using a tripod allowing a longer shutter speed,
best regards,
Paul

Hoi Riny,

brilliant
a minor nit: not crazy with the frame though, anyway a frame is not the picture itself
my best....txules

This image is so strange and weird but I can't help liking it. I wonder who had the idea of putting a pinball machine in that beautiful room. Different stokes....
