Thanks Riny. Bees have been lot later this year. Dont see any Bumble Bees at all here. Lots of them in New Zealand. Flowers are later this though. Seems to be getting back to how it was years ago whe we had wet seasons in late summer. The cycle going around again. Hope so anyway. Cheers.

Hallo Keith,Interesting posting and important to recall the importance of bees for pollinisation. In Europe we had great losses of whole bee-colonies and people started to imagine what could happen without these useful insects..
My grand-father used to have bees and as a kid I have been stung very often, it was very very painful! Thanks for this fine and useful posting,riny
