Hi Dave,
Nice shot of the little guy.
These guys get friendly very fast. If you are patient, they will take seeds right out of your hand.
We watch them at our backyard feeder. They are very civilized birds. They line up like planes on a runway and take their turn at the feeder. One finishes and the next one takes over.... and so on and so on.

Very good stuff about the focus on the bird... excellent even the bird was inside the shadow area of the brunches, something that always adds difficulties in photography.
