Hi Dave,
This shot has such a familiar ring to it for me. When I first got interested in Photography, I signed myself up for some night school classes at one of the local high schools. (I was 19 at the time) I needed to take some shots for my first darkroom experience so I drove to just north of Peterborough and stopped at the side of the road near Burleigh Falls to take pictures very similar to the one above. I still have some of the original prints, but I can't locate the negatives. They were taken on my dad's Yashicamat 120 TLR.
Maybe I'll try scanning a couple one day, just for old time sake.

What a great sence of balance. These outer trees seem to be protecting the smaller pine tree in the middle. Nice to have big brothers. Wonderful B@W conversion. Took me a while to even notice there was no color to this picture. Was enraptured by the scene.
