I like the eye you caught in this portrait shot txules.. You really well managed the contrast to focus the viewer eye on the boy face.

It's the perspective that grabs me in this image, the older hand is almost as big as the younger head, but of course the head will eventually rule the hand, I hope (and the wording on his shirt will come to pass). Focus is just in the right place. The anonymity of the old man and the expression on the child's face also makes a good contrast.

very good composition,and so expressive to me,
I liked how the old hand catches the little one for guidance and protection at the same time,and how the old hand catches the stick for assistance at the very same time,it reminds me of that phoenix riddle,even the title by some good coincidence is indicating at the changing times.
as for the shot it is so expressive as a portrait with a superb crop and DOF,
