A good idea for a portrait between the serious and the humorous, and the timing was good for that, Simen. The light balance seems to have been also good for a large tonal range that covers all aspects of the color gradients that provide plasticity on a face.
But the low sharpness took too much away from the potential of the image. I think that it was mainly due to motion blur but perhaps also some less than adequate DoF contributed to the overall very fuzzy appearance. Her happiness would look much better under good focus and adequate DoF.
I think you should retry this.

Great image. Universally appealing. I like it for the "Emotion" project -- it immediately draws a smile of recognition from the viewer.
