The contrast between the muddy path and the delicate tree is nicely seen and the dark sky accentuates the place as somewhere where nature is in control.

yes you have got it, I do not usually think of trees, roads.. :) I thought the empty space on the right hand view was the room for somebody, in this case just in my mind; agree about the croped tree and glad to read you feel better

wonder just whom you refer by YOU,the tree, the road,the place,or something isn't there ?
very fine JD style as always,but for me ,I just wished the tree wasnt croped from the left,
my fever is a little less,may be your shots works for me as an Aspirin,and they should do.
