Yes, exactly, Txules! That tonal range that came from the exact balance of lighting/exposure. It was so good that it also injected also some kind of sepia look to it.
I don't think that the composition could be any better under this tonal range. Actually the two things support each other very well.
Cheers!

thanks Nick for your fantastic comment/critic; what like most here is the tonal range; composition can be more arguable though as previous comments said take care my friend...txules

What I find so good here is the absolute sense of how to use a myriad of apparently unrelated, chaotic details for composing an image of such a great integrity. Those details play hand in hand here, in order to create a strong character. It is open and still claustrophobic to me, as the branches frame almost the whole view, and as the clouds seem to apply pressure on the earth at the background, where one of the most detailed paths I ever saw seem to take me to.
The background is very powerful here! I guess that a very exact lighting is needed in order to retain those subtle light differences on the clouds and the view of houses behind subtle fog.
The silent attitude of the image works very well with its special character. It absorbs the spectator but without those frenetic screams of spectacularity. And I guess that this is also why it is really strong!
Excellent work, Txules! Keep it up!
Nick

Buen paisaje, un trabajo interesante, sin embargo las masas tonales de los pinos en el centro le quitan al de clima..eso es todo de cabrón que soy...Abrazos.- LUIS

agree with Kiarang, but one little thing bothers me: the inclusion of the branches at the top gives the impression of being too busy.. maybe 4/5 steps forward ?

Hermosa imagen Txules! Me fascina la riqueza de tonos y la perspectiva; la neblina que se pone más densa a lo lejos trae un gran sentido de profundidad. Me gusta mucho cómo los árboles están enmarcados con el follaje del camino.
Poesía visual!
