Which is the best way to approximate perfection, even if we know that we never reach it, Saad.

thank you Nick, nothing in this universe, and in UF,is flawless, but the the mere truth itself, and even that has some one who doubt it as well,at least you have proven by your critique to me that I am a human who do mistakes, and always get try to overcome them,my best wishes and regards, Saad.

Oh well... some times getting two for the price of one also contains some underlying problems, I guess. But so what? One has to try.
Cheers!

Thanks a lot for the info, Saad!
Well... perhaps you just get out and make some more shots? Isn't that an option?
Thanks a lot also for the origonal image. Not bad at all! If it only was already straight. The necessary rotation and horizontal crom eats up too much of the pavement (attachment). But still I find it much better than the "other half".
What you needed here except of the straight camera would be to enhance perspective. One possibility would be to stand at the corner of the building at the left, right beside the man, and use a wide angle for getting him on the absolute foreground and the other side and the pavement as your leading lines.
But still, your original image was better for me.
Cheers!

Rotated, cropped, and saturated the vivid colors a bit. |

dear Nick,I have special situation that I have to consider, and for you to take knowledge of,I am running out of photos, that is why I have to check and recheck my store for any one that I could post, even if I have to do a hard and sometimes improper cropping that could degrades the shots value, and for instance this particular shot,I don't want to post it,but because I have posted a cropped of the other half under the title of Carlsbad shoe polish, and our dear friend,Aziz, comment on it and asked a question about it,I have decided to edit the other half(this one) and post it,moreover I have discovered that the ACDsee program that I use have an equalizer for correction shadows and highlights that I am not aware of it despite I am using the program for the last seven years since its early release,so I use it to correct this post as trial, for me the result was astonishing regarding the ease of use and the shorter time it take , dear Nick,I am enjoying your detailed and at least to me,your very fine notes on my photos, and I am telling you this just to consider my special position,my regards and gratitude for your time, Saad. this is the original one,

A nice image with good details in both shadows and highlights and with such a vivid multitude of colors that preserve the life-feeling on the street. The sense for depth is also good.
The composition has some rawer parts like the half sign at the top right or the cut light at the top. Some more tight, or integrated way to shoot it could five it the last finishing. Also, there seems to be some kind of "haze" over the image - the result of some combination of lower contrast and not as perfect focus perhaps? I sharpened it very slightly and it seems a bit better to me. (Attachment).
Cheers!
